Catching up on my posting from the other week. Here are some silhouette studies for the Varanid “Moschops” Big dinosaur-ish. Heavily built, aggressive. Built like a MMA fighter or a Bouncer. Covered in spikes or bony horns and with a big bony tail like a stegosaurus or ankylosaurus
So my other task this week was to produce silhouette concepts for the varanid “sarcos” These little guys are deadly, slippery little close combat specialists. Leaping into combat, slicing stuff up and jumping out again.
I was just pushing how muscular and angular a moschops body could be. Trying to get him to be a hulking intimidating thing. But perhaps his head is getting a little lost.
