Weekly Update #279

Welcome back to (what should be) our weekly update!

My goodness life keeps getting busier. I was meant to write this up last week but after finishing up work late at night, I was just like ‘nope, time for bed’. So as you can tell work has continued to be rather insane for myself.

But before we get carried away with the negatively lets turn this around and focus on what we have been able to do shall we šŸ˜€

So first up the Rules have been updated with our latest tweaks and we’re ready again to do some more testing (can’t wait!). In addition to what was mentioned last update I have also expanded a bit more upon when activations end and tightening up the rules about that.

You might be wondering don’t just activations end once you’ve finished your actions? Well yes but what if you have abilities that can still be triggered that don’t require actions? So those are the situations I was trying to clarify just so that everyone is on the same page.

In addition I’ve got feedback back to Mark B about the short stories (or will have by the time this goes live). Jono has made some more updates to the logo and game symbols / icons. That’s all looking super sweet. We’re also looking at what Art assets we will be requiring for final production, though I suppose we could just look at what’s required for a kickstarter run rather than a fully finished product (as art is not cheap!).

Looking ahead to next week I want the re-fluffing of the Isogo cards to be roughed out in broad brushstrokes. I also want to have the newsletters blocked in and sent to Mark B to make cool. Other than that I would love another game, but we’ll see how time goes.
