So last night we play tested:
the new dice mechanic again – still really easy and quite satisfying.
The new equipment deck – nicely varied and seems to be quite balanced.
The equipment auction idea for game setup – which was interesting but needs some development.
and finally the new injury deck.
Injuries worked quite well, but were a little flat after a major combat resulted in a trivial flesh wound.
we are going to have to revise what the trivial and minor injuries do in game.
While nobody rolled any, the criticals really highlighted themselves as an interesting slim hope to taking down big things. I found myself trying to stack my dice rolls to try and get that triple and save the day.
