Welcome back once again to the weekly Art Dump. This week we’ve got a few shots from Simon’s progress on the new Tyton sculpt and an update from the Ophidia.
First up is Simon’s Tyton work. This is his initial starting point, unfortunately he was a tad muscular for our idea of the Tyton.
What followed must have been a rather high fat diet because he swelled up like a balloon.
Next Simon started adding some smaller details and refining the little pompous hunter. For context this model is mounted on a 30mm base and is one of the shortest models in the game though he likes to think of himself as above everyone else.
I then got keen and followed up with a few rough pose sketches for Simon to think about. Bonus points if you can read my horrible scrawling.
Next Simon roughed out some poses based upon the sketches. Prevailing opinion is that number 1 (far left pose) is the favourite and strongest pose. Simon’s next job is to start pushing the asymmetry and details.
Finishing up we’ve got another update from the Ophidia. In this one you can see his completed luggage chest, bracelets and other bits and bobs. Because of the detail in his backpack, his skin and muscles are going to require a similar level of detail in places.
And with that we’ve come to the end of another weekly Art Dump. Hope you’ve enjoyed it and if you’ve got any feedback we’d love to hear it.
Until next week 😀
