Missed it by that much, or at least that’s what I’m telling myself as I post up my Sunday Art Dump on a Monday. So yes one day late and a bit light on variety but I still hope you enjoy some pretty pictures. This week I’ve got 2 pictures of the Ophidia to show you.
First off is a profile view (minus an arm as it was getting in the way) of the Ophidia. I’ve noted down a few ideas and thoughts down on the side of the image. The interesting thing to note about the Ophidia is how low their heads are in comparison to their bodies, its almost like their head is sticking out of their chest instead of sitting on top of it. The other thing is how large and muscular their upper bodies are. Their large powerful muscles their primary strength with their mental aptitude leaving a bit to be desired. They are able to throw themselves forward at speed and crush other creature’s bone’s due to their powerful arms.
Another idea I have been playing with is that their spines along their back could be used to cool their body temperature, and that they can extend them up or down depending on the need.
This second image is a little more detailed, with more attention paid to the head and neck area.
That’s it for the second Sunday Art Dump and hopefully next week I’ll actually manage to hit the due date!
